Throughout the years, since Nike's beginnings in the early '70s, the company has strived to continuously stay ahead of the rest when it comes to high performance athletic shoe technologies. The company has committed to giving athletes the best performance products in every style possible, in order to meet their needs when it comes to both individual style and athletic potential and ability. Nike continues to top itself with each new innovation it embraces. In 2001, Nike surpassed expectations once again with the Nike Shoes system and line of shoes. The Shox system sparked a new trend in the development of athletic shoe cushioning and impact protection. The Shox are made mostly of rubber and are accompanied by other internal materials that help absorb the impact on the heel and ankle. This system is meant to help reduce the risk of injuries caused by high impact from running and jumping. The Nike Shox technology involves small columns in the special rubber material that is used to make up the outsole of the shoe. Such columns are used in a square formation. Sometimes they are placed only in the heel of the shoe, but some of the Nike Shox designs have entire outsoles made of the Shox.Numerous styles of Nike shoes are available for men and women with the Nike Shox technology. You can also find a wide range of colors and cuts to suit your stylistic and performance preferences. The Nike Shox running shoes and trainers are among some of the most popular choices. The Shox system in Nike's running shoes provides an extra spring to enhance overall performance and stride.

New Nike Designs Including Twitter, Google & Michael Jackson

We must really dig unique and geeky sneaker designs because we’ve written about them a lot here on Bit Rebels. Maybe I’m more of a dork than I thought, but when I saw these Twitter sneakers, I instantly started drooling. I would totally wear these!

These shoes, which sell for around $200 – $250 per pair, are only available for a limited time. According to Daniel’s website, since he only creates these on a part time basis, he will close down his store, without notice, when he has as much work as he can handle. Then, when he finishes that batch, he will reopen again. You can purchase a pair by going here. Nice work Daniel!
